These hard decisions were made with careful consideration. These past seven years, I have had to make some hard decisions. This election, in particular, is about either moving forward on a path of stable growth in the economy, in community improvement and in job creation or putting a halt to that progress and choosing to make a blanket change based on reckless election promises. In-Demand Jobs Week is a statewide celebration of the jobs, industries and skills that are in-demand in Ohio. For more information, visit /OMJResources/InDemandBooklet.stm. The state’s In-Demand Jobs List was developed using labor market information, job postings on, JobsOhio regional forecasts and employer forecasts. Ohio has in-demand jobs in more than 200 occupations across a wide range of industries. In-demand jobs are jobs that have a sustainable wage and a promising future based on the projected number of openings and growth. QuickTime can handle AC3 files, too, so you could probably skip the ffmpegx step if you've got QuickTime Pro (but I didn't test this method).May 7-11, 2018, will be our first-ever In-Demand Jobs Week in Ohio. You could also use Audacity, as it has a tool to help split MP3 files, too. I wanted to split this into songs, and wound up using Fission (as I had a license) to do the job. When ffpmegx is done, you'll have a large MP3 file. Select the Audio tab and set a bit rate for the MP3 file, then click Encode.Choose Audio to MP3 from the pop-up menu.In the Target Format section of the interface, click the arrow in the To box. Drag and drop your AC3 file onto the 'Drop file here' area in ffpmegx. The above process will result in a large AC3 file, which you can then convert to MP3 using ffmpegx: In the sidebar that appears, remove any checkmarks next to video or subtitle streams, and check just one audio stream, if there are more than one.Click the D button, then the (now enabled) Streams button.Set the SChpt and EChpt to the range of chapters you'd like to extract (I chose all chapters).Typically this is the longest track in the list you'll see. In the secon drop-down, select the "title" you'd like to extract.Select the Mode tab, and then Title-Chapter Extraction from the drop-down menu. Insert the DVD and start Mac the Ripper.Install Mac the Ripper and ffmpegx (and its dependencies). Here's the executive summary version of the hint: In the rest of this hint, however, I'll provide an executive summary (in case the original goes away), and some recommendations for tools to split the resulting MP3 file. Becuase that how-to is thorough and includes numerous screen shots, I'm not going to try to replicate it here. This how-to was the key to my successful extraction. After a few false starts, including some time wasted trying to extract and convert the PCM version (I never did get that working), I finally found a solution that worked perfectly for extracting the 5.1 audio track. Little did I know this would be as tricky as it turned out to be. So I thought I'd just rip the Dolby 5.1 music out of the DVD and create my own "CD." However, in looking at the options on iTunes and Amazon, I discovered that the CD version was missing five songs off the DVD, including two of my favorites. I recently decided I wanted to purchase the audio CD version (or electronic equivalent) of a concert DVD that I've owned for a few years.
